Hacking the File System of the K750

File System Hacking:
With access to the file system, you can change many system settings, delete predefined content, change menu icons and layout, silence the camera, remove operator logo, and many other cool things.

The techniques below assume you have some understanding of how to access the internal file system of your phone.

Remove SMS storage limitation
You can remove the storage limitation so that you can store more than 500 sms?s. This trick works by changing the sms message store to the tpa folder, where the message limitation is not in force

Copy the file /ifs/settings/messaging/pref_store.txt from the phone to the computer, make a backup, then edit it to read /tpa instead of /smsdata, then delete the file from the phone then copy in the new version.

Tip 1 : Do u know how to use the edit button (abc or pencil button)?
Heres how… in the inbox for example; u wanna delete multiple sms, simply hold the edit button, scroll down, and then, press c to delete the marked sms. The edit button can also b used to copy and past text in sms, simply hold it and scroll across, choose copy. pretty good for placing song names in ngages

Tip 2 : ….happens, on a smartphone, its inevitable u do something wrong, and tis calls for a format of fone. to format the fone, press *#7370#, then enter the lock code, which is the sec code of the fone. NOTE: batt must b full, else if format is disrupted by low batt, consequences will b disatrous
I heard the code *#7780# works too, pretty much the same i tink.
for 6600 users, to format the fone, theres an alternative way. Press and hold <3>, < *>, and the buttons, then power on fone, keep holding on the 3 buttons, till u come to a format screen. tis method ONLY works on 6600, and need not enter the sec code. BUT sec code wun be reset to default 12345.

1. From the main menu, open your “Contacts”.

2. Select the person in your contacts whose business card you’d like to send.

3. Press “Select” with the left soft-key, then scroll down the menu and select “Send” or “Send business card”.

4. Then select “Via text message” for the easiest and fastest way to send.

5. Now choose the recipient(s) who’ll receive the business card.

The recipient(s) will quickly receive a text message. Once they accept the message the business card will be stored permanently in their contacts.

Thanks to the encouragement of overly generous grandparents, I had a ridiculous model train set as a kid. Since then, I’ve always had a place in my heart for train games of all types. Promo Ideas’ recently released Wild Wild Train [App Store] is an action-puzzle game that likely will have massive appeal for rails fans, but also is a good enough game to be worth looking in to even if you’re not crazy about trains. The goal of Wild Wild Train is to manage your trains and route them through the various switches on the tracks to pick up all kinds of different color-coded cargo which then needs to be delivered to the station with the corresponding color. Sounds simple enough, and the first few levels are pretty easy, but Wild Wild Train quickly adds multiple trains as well as bombs to be disarmed and damsels in distress to be saved by the special hero train. Run over the damsel in distress with any other train and it’s game over, or, more appropriately in a game like this, it’s CURTAINS for you!
